Nashville recording artist Cottonwood Creek are a country music duo originally from California’s Gold Country, comprised of husband and wife singer-songwriters. Scott & Maggie Little began performing together in 2012 and steadily built a loyal fan base with their unique blend of gritty, homegrown country with a modern twist, tapping into the vein of popular music. They made their way to Nashville to record their self-titled debut studio album, which they independently released in January 2017. It immediately gained traction and reached #21 on the iTunes Country Charts within hours after release, making them the only independent artists in the top 30 at the time. Brian Jirka has been part of the local music scene for 20+ years with seminal acts like Bison and Last Caravan. Jirka, bassist/vocalist, considers himself a “late bloomer” to singing & songwriting but has proven himself worthy of the position. His latest collaborative ,Cabby, is comprised of seasoned Northern California musicians that draw influences from Motown, soul, funk, rock, blues, country, and even a touch of reggae! Jirka likes to infuse his unique vocal styles and bass lines into classic songs from timeless acts like The Temptations, Hall & Oates, Elvin Bishop, Al Green, and Bob Marley.

Tim Hurley is a singer/songwriter out of Playa del Rey, California. In 2014 Tim was discovered singing karaoke at local bar. Two months later he found himself onstage opening for John Michael Montgomery. After a tremendous reception he decided to pursue a career in music. Originally from the east coast Tim was raised on a variety of musical genres, but in college the songwriting and lyrics in country music won him over. Tim gets inspiration from artists like George Strait, Zac Brown, and Kenny Chesney. He combines ‘feel good’ melodies with thoughtful lyrics in what he likes to describe as “Coastal Country”.

Dyemusica was formed in 2011 by friends who shared the love of reggae and the freedom that jam music offers. Northern California’s majestic Sierra Nevada region was the perfect setting for the band to hone their sound and create something original. The band incorporates different tonal styles, personalities, experimental overtones, and thought provoking lyrics. “We write songs for ourselves and our fans, the enjoyment of music is paramount, and our live show is where we expand on the studio works to fit the needs of musical self-expression.”

The Hot Dark is a collaborative post new wave jazz rock dance quartet (there’s a mouthful) from northern California whose up-tempo, sprawling, and diversely crafted songs have a way of pulling music lovers into their potions, of vocals and instruments, to listen more closely. The band’s commitment is a dedication in bringing high quality artistic writing to a fun and high energy performance on and off stage. The Hot Dark received the 2016 Modesto Area Music Award for “Best Best Pop Rock Band” and is comprised of Kiel Williams (vocals and guitar), Nicholas Lefler (drums and vocals), Andy Merrill (bass and vocals), and Nate Semprebon (keyboard and vocals). The band is currently based out of the Sierra Foothills town of Murphys, California.
