Fair season is getting closer, and the Mother Lode Fairgrounds is gearing up for the 2026 Mother Lode Fair — four days of Heritage, Honor & Hometown Fun filled with exhibits, livestock, entertainment, and community tradition.
Now is a great time to get involved. Click to download the app and sign up for Hometown Voice, the Fair’s singing competition, happening Thursday and Friday from 3 PM to 6 PM on the Sierra Stage. We’re also hiring for grounds maintenance and ticket seller/scanner positions for Fair time, and looking for volunteer building sitters. Stop by the Fair Office today to pick up an application.
This year’s Fair will feature Honoring Hometown Heroes in Celebration of America’s 250th Anniversary, our special Veterans exhibit, plus entertainment and attractions throughout the grounds including The Birdman live bird show and The Junebugs every night on the Sierra Stage. Fairgoers can also enjoy included-with-admission arena events all weekend long: the CCPRA Rodeo Friday night, Truck & Tractor Pulls Saturday night, and the Destruction Derby Sunday night.
