Friends of the Fairgrounds

The Friends of the Mother Lode Fairgrounds was created for the purpose of supporting and promoting the Mother Lode Fairgrounds. Several years ago California State funding for the Fairgrounds was significantly reduced. Community support is now needed for the Fairgrounds to continue offering the largest venue for events in Tuolumne County. Think of all the events held at the Fairgrounds from the Mother Lode Round-Up to the Health Fair to the Christmas Craft Festival to the Super Bowl Breakfast and to the Fair itself, as well as serving as an evacuation center for people and animals and a base camp/staging area for fires.

Dedicate a Brick For a Friend, Relative, Your Family or Your Business

Here is great opportunity to honor people who were or are active in the Fairground’s activities. The bricks are described in the following poster and application. The bricks are located near the livestock area near the creek. Drop by and take a look. These funds are used for Fairgrounds improvements.
